It's GONE!

Yes, I chopped my hair and I love it! It goes just to the bottom of my neck and and highlights and low lights. The day after I had it cut, Peyton was staring at me with that wonderous look and finally asked, ..."Mom, when are you going to put your hair back on?" Obviously he doesn't feel the same way as I do. But Madison and Matt like it.

Peyton, Peyton Bo beyton!

So, we have an extremely cute 4 year old! He says the funnest things because he is so literal and so observant. His new thing is, "I've a GREAT idea!"
But tonight we were cleaning up dinner and he was putting on his ninja turtle shirt and I said that the ninja turtles use their weapons to save the good people. Peyton replies, "I know, Jesus saves the ninja turtles so the ninja turtles don't be killed by the bad guys!" Yep, he's adorable! More fun quotes to come.

Pass Bar....check!

WooHOOOOOO! Can't say enough about the relief that we are feeling (not that we had ANY doubts whatsoever)that Studly Matt passed the BAR! We found out while we were visiting The Bird family this past weekend in Canada. What a great weekend, Thanksgiving turkey, pony rides, houseboating, lunch at my FAVORITE spot, SUBWAY, and to top it off, passing the BAR! We are poor, but very happy people!!

OK, we're gettin' on it!

So, LOTS, I mean LOTS has happened, and it's actually stuff that is BLOG worthy!!
We have a wonderful friends (Jeff & Cortney) that have many talents. Jeff is really getting into photography, so I took the opportunity to get some great pics of Eli. Eli,even being the wonderful baby that he is) was a little frustrated throughout the photo shoot and by the end of it all, had fallen fast asleep.

Funky Spokane weather

We finally got some GOOD snow last week. Close to a foot, of course this week it is almost all melted again. But I was able to have one good snow day with the kids. We made a rainbow ice castle which lasted all of 10 minutes and then a slight breeze KNOCKED IT DOWN. I was a ble to get some pictures first!!

Is this really the last time?

Matt has just started his final semester of law school! We still can't believe it. he is about to start sending a million resumes in hopes of finding the perfect job! He is interning at Salina, Sanger and Gauper in Spokane part time also. Matt is the second counselor in the elders quorum at church. And to top it all off, he and his friends have just started their own band called the Prancing Nancies! This is just on the side right now, but is a definite full time possibility if the lawyer thing doesn't go well.
